Why We Should Run More #TargetedToo Campaigns And How To Do It!

Let's get our message out there and be heard! 

 


Given the success of our #TargetedToo campaigns, we have decided to write up an article to help you understand #TargetedToo's importance to the TI Community and how easy it is to run your own #TargetedToo campaign.

 

 

 

 

 

Working together, with a common, unified public message, over time, this simple, repeatable 10 minute task can change the entire Targeted Individual Community internet landscape into an internet phenomena that cannot be ignored. 

 

If the TI Community ran just 2 #TargetedToo campaigns per week, we would complete 104 campaigns per year. If the average #TargetedToo campaign utilized 30 TIs, we would have 3120 #TargetedToo Tweets, comments, Facebook posts, etc. every year. In 3 short years that would be close to 10,000 #TargetedToo Tweets, comments, Facebook posts, etc. all being read by non-TIs. This would show non-TIs that the TI Community is real, unified, coordinated, committed, international, and deserving of examination and assistance.

 

 

 

What is a #TargetedToo campaign?

A #TargetedToo campaign is a public relations operation designed to leverage mainstream reporting related to being targeted by providing TIs with a simple ten minute public engagement task.

 

When should you run a #TargetedToo campaign?

A #TargetedToo campaign can be run anytime that you find mainstream coverage of anything related to being targeted.

 

Who can run a #TargetedToo campaign?

Any targeted individual can run a #TargetedToo campaign.

 

Why run a #TargetedToo campaign?

The campaign provides the non-targeted public with an understanding of the extent that targeting exists in society.   As we run more and more international #TargetedToo campaigns all using a shared, common #TargetedToo template, the TI Community will appear to non-TIs as having solidarity, being organized, staying committed, and being international.

 

How do you run a #TargetedToo campaign?

1) Find a mainstream journalistic, scientific, governmental, and/or medical article or video that is strongly related to being targeted.

2) Look for the comments, Tweets, Facebook posts, etc. for the article or video.

3) Edit the #TargetedToo template by replacing the nation, city, and state/region/province with your information. Modify the template to reflect the targeted population or technology that was portrayed in the article or video.

4) Copy then paste your personalized #TargetedToo message in the article/video comments, Tweets, Facebook replies, etc.

5) Contact fellow TIs to post their own personalized message by modifying the #TargetedToo template as required. Ask them to contact their fellow international TIs to do the same thing.
6) Watch as, over time, with more and more campaigns, #TargetedToo becomes an international internet phenomena that cannot be ignored.

 

I do not want to follow a shared, common #TargetedToo template. I want to use the #TargetedToo hashtag for my various individual posts. Is this ok? 

While you can definitely use the #TargetedToo hashtag for your various, individual Tweets, comments, posts, etc., the real power of #TargetedToo comes from running campaigns made up of a multitude of international TIs all using a single, simple, common template. The reason is that, over time, a multitude of TIs using the same template proves that we are a very large, unified, and distinct population warranting examination and deserving of help.

#TargetedToo Example 1: When the article or video is about other humans being targeted.

 

Example 1 Instructions:

We have decided to run a #TargetedToo public engagement operation designed to leverage NBC's reporting of the targeted US officials in China and Cuba. It is simple to participate just copy and paste the following Tweet, Comment, Message, etc. using your nation, city, and state. Afterwards, contact five international TIs and/or TI groups to post the--same EXACT message.

It is simple to participate just copy and paste the following Tweet, Comment, Message, etc. using your nation, city, and state. Afterwards, contact five international TIs and/or TI groups to post the--same EXACT message.
